Beach Buoy had been to work.
It was 3-33 pm when he and Stubborn Dog parked up in the beach Car Park.
It had been warm but now a chilly breeze blew off the sea.
The Hungry Seagull was parked up with its back to the fresh blast.
A Police Car was parked up; watching.
The tide was heading out but more in than it was out, when they arrived.
Kids walked the dune edge.
Grown-ups walked the dogs.
Long leads, short leads and no leads at all.
There was lots of driftwood rolling around in the beach surf, looking like causalities from a shipwreck.
Beach Buoy paused to watch a metallic blue sea rise, curl before breaking down onto the beach.
Leaving ghostly shivering sea from in its wake.
They continued south as clouds continued to hide the direct light of the sun.
They stacked the stack.
It's what tiggers do best.
They began a slow walk back.......
A very slow walk back.....
Back to the van.
That was it for this particular visit.
Beach Buoy.
