SEATON SANDS, 06 JAN. 2021.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived at 3-40 pm.

The sun was setting down behind the closed golf club.

There was a cold breeze from the north.

The bright sunset was making the clouds on the horizon blush pink.

The tide was well out.

The sky to the west glowed and glowed.

It was another one of the those days when you could stand and watch the rainfall travel the bay.

Beach Buoy did so.

It was bitterly cold.

As the sea rolled in, sea coal edged the surf.

Gulls headed out to sea, flying at ninety degrees to the wind.

As the weather travelled it's course, Saltburn disappeared into the gloom.

The beach was quiet, thankfully.

They crossed shingle and more shingle to go and stack the stack.

Beach Buoy kept checking back to plot the progress of any bad weather.

Yesterday the bad weather headed down the River, today was no different.

They headed back .

As they approached the car park, the rain started.

Luckily it was just the edge of  the heavier rain to come.

They sat in the van as rain increased in strength.

Joggers jogged with a touch more urgency.

Rain and darkness fell.

BEACH BUOY.
