SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL 09 JUNE 2020.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog walked to the beach tonight.
They set off at 17-57
The
flower bed at the south end of the village is lovely at the moment.
Beach Buoy wishes Seaton Carew had one of those signs that he used to see as a child on day trips.

SEATON CAREW
WELCOMES
CAREFUL DRIVERS.

and
as the Golf Club lies just beyond to the right
they could have another..

SEATON CAREW
GOLF CLUB
WELCOMES CAREFUL DRIVERS
AND PUTTERS.

Maybe not eh?

A short while later they were at the beach.
It was busy.
Beach Buoy chose to lean against the promenade wall for a while and watch the world go by.
Stubborn Dog decided to sit on the wall and do the same.

Maybe a better plan would have been to have brought the van, drink coffee and wait for things to quieten down?

The Tees Tugs waited in the Bay for an approaching red ship.
They guided it in Hartlepool Docks.

A couple in matching wellingtons left the beach via the ramp.
They had been beach combing.

Three men stood at the southern most part of the Promenade.
They were wearing running gear and each stood with hand on wristwatch ready to time their run.
They were off; heading North.
'Oh Shit' said one as he passed.

A few minutes later Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog were off too; off to the beach.
The didn't set their watches.

It was dull and bright, which doesn't make sense but thats just how it was.
Everywhere was pale colours.
Maybe the pale colours were doing a good job of reflecting what light there was?

Lots of activities going on tonight.
From Left to Right
Surfer
Walkers
Fisherman
Horse Riders
and
More Walkers.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog headed south.
Horse riders came North, as if to meet them.
It was one Horse and two Ponies.

They headed uptown the stack.
Two more fishermen were angling just beyond the stack.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog had a slow walk back.

A couple were just ahead; hand in hand, feet in sea.
