SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL 08 JUNE 2020..

Beach Buoy had planned to have a coffee and maybe head to the beach later on.
But then again why not have a coffee in the van with a sea view?

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived around 6-15pm.
Stubborn Dog sat patiently (well sort of) in the front passenger seat whilst Beach Buoy had a coffee in the back of the van.
It was good to see so many people bothering to leave their cars to make use of the full as a gun rubbish bins.
Beyond the prom wall the Little Terns were chattering away, whilst their twitcher friends watched over them.

They passed the Little Tern nest site as they made their way to the sea.
By now it was around 7-08pm.

The tide was quite high.
There was a light blue sky and a dark blue sea.
There wasn't much wind, but the sea was roaring.

Ton the north the sun shone over the village.

It was case of good timing this evening.
Many people were leaving as they set off south.

They called in to stack the dune stack.
A Skylark sang them a song, more likely to distract them from going near its nest than it was to entertain.
Beach Buoy stood  on top of the dunes, looking out to sea as Stubborn Dog had a lay down in the dunes.
He was sprawled out like a sleeping lion after a kill.

Two youths went by, heading south beyond the grey rocks....
