SEATON SANDS 07 JUNE 2020. A SECOND VISIT FOR THE DAY

They reached the beach ramp at 6 -52 pm.
Beach Buoy was glad to see that the Little Terns were out and about.
The tide was high and the northerly wind was strong, with a bite to it.

The beach was theirs.
It was very chilly.

Out in the bay the waves were breaking seven steps out.

The dune edge and water's edge were almost one in the same

Certain areas of sand were very soft; not quicksand as such, just a little spritely.

The rough sea had taken the stones from near the dune edge.
Beach Buoy waited for the sea to pull back temporarily and down he went to collect some stones for the stack,
His was surprised just how warm the sea's stones felt.
To be fair his hands were cold, some gloves wouldn't have gone amiss.
To be even fairer it was JUNE!

He stacked the stack with the warm stones.

There was some driftwood near the stack.

The beach was still theirs.
