4, MAY 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at 5-27.

It was overcast.

A man sat on the sand out of your shoes bench with his greyhound.

He was either fastening his laces or indeed getting sand out of his shoes?

He stood.

"Morning."

"Morning."

The man and the greyhound headed north along the Esplanade.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the beach access ramp.

The view from the Esplanade across the Little Tern Nest Site.
The clouds seemed to point to the Sun's location on the horizon.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The tide was well in.

They headed to the water's edge.

They walked by the sea as they made their way to Stubborn Dog Stack.

After a day off yesterday, Another Dog was surprisingly keen.

A man threw a driftwood stick for his sea-loving Dog.

The contoured beach had high and lows spots.
The sea was climb a sandy bank then fall into a dip as it came ashore.

Rays of light spread out  beyond the Sea Serpent Marker.

More highs and lows.
The camera doesn't do it justice.
They made their way to the low level route.
Two sturdy stones were added to the base of the small slope.

"Morning Mate."
It was 6-12.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He gave the recent additions to the stack another coat of spray varnish.

He had a stand and a think.

Their arrival had disturbed a Crow that has been having a sit and a think on one of the stack's giant pencil posts.

From up at the stack, Beach Buoy could see that the tide had turned.

He scattered some seeds for the Crows.

"See you mate."

Back to the Beach.

Team One Black Ear were to the north, heading south.
They walked as far as Beach Buoy and Another Dog.
They walked and talked their way back north.
They chatted at the sand out of your shoes bench for a while.

Little Terns passed by as they did so.

Mr.Gunn/ Lunn stopped for short chat.

He said he had just seen about thirty Little Terns

 "Fly in."

BEACH BUOY.
