3, MAY 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 It had rained all night.
It was still raining.
Little Terns and raindrops filled the sky alongside the Esplanade.
It was 7-09 a.m.

Team Muzzled Dog passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Morning."
Alfie the Border Collie had been missing recently with a poorly paw.
It was good to see all four together again.

Beach Buoy headed to the sea.
He collected five small suitable stones.
He already had four painted stones in his beach bag for Stubborn Dog Stack.

Sea Pottery piece, decorated inside and outside of it's curve.

The tide was well in but heading out.
There was a strong breeze off the sea.

Alfie, the Border Collie had to turn back.
Still a bit of paw trouble.

Beach Buoy continued south.

A tempting driftwood plank.

Beach Buoy picked it up.
The strong breeze off the sea made him turn like some horizontal wind turbine.
He left it for another day or another beach walker.

He checked back to the north.

Up near the low level route he found a small piece of driftwood.
No wind spin.
It went into his beach bag.
It'll come in handy if he never uses it, as they say.

Looking north at the start of the low level route.
.

He headed south.
Two sturdy stones were selected and added to the sea defence.
He climbed the small slope to
Stubborn Dog Stack.

A Stubborn Dog Stack Snail.
It pleased Beach Buoy to see it make use of the stack stones.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-37.
He added the five suitable stones.
He added the painted stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

New Wind Turbine Tower Top were lost in the grey.
The ones out to sea too.

The beach below.
"See you Mate."
He scattered some seeds for the Crows, when they were good and ready.

Down the small slope.

Back along a monochrome beach alone.

Gulls hung in the air.

A Red Ship headed out into the greyness of the bay.
Black and white photography hides it's embarrassment.

As Mr.Cowley said years ago on a soaked Rugby pitch.

"Once you're wet, you can't get any wetter."

Well an income wave made a lie if that.

Beach Buoy and his sea-soaked boots headed to the car park.

The access ramp has it own water feature.

BEACH BUOY.
