Saturday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached Sandy Car Park at 6-06.
A section of the Little Tern Nest Site fencing was missing.
Sections of it were rolled up into bundles.
It was a sunny morning with a light breeze from the west.
The tide looked to be a canny way out.
The darker sand shows how high the last tide came.
Much of the nest site will have been flooded by yesterday's high and rough tide.
They headed south.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
Beach Buoy stopped to chat to Team One Black Ear.
Team One Black Ear headed home.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued to Stubborn Dog Stack.
It was sunny but a distant fog buzzer buzzed.
Beach Buoy picked up a stone that looked like a cartoon ghost.
He put it in his beach bag.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple headed south then north.
Team One Black Ear's preferred driftwood seat had been returned to the strand-line by the thoughtful sea.
Beach Buoy added two sturdy stones to the sea defence on the low level route.
"Morning Mate."
It was 6-52.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones plus the cartoon ghost stone.
He patted
THE
stone.
The cartoon ghost stone.
Beach Buoy had come prepared...
Meet Wilson the hacksaw blade.
Geoff Walker always had a Wilson in his rule pocket at work.
Now Beach Buoy had one in his shed.
Beach Buoy sat on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
Using Wilson, the hacksaw blade, he removed the float from the large bamboo post.
He had brought his large hammer.
He stood on a nearby stone.
He struck the bamboo post one hundred times.
He pulled at it, to see how easily a numpty could pull it out of the sand
He decided to strike it a further sixty one times
It was still quite easy to pull from the sand.
It would be the first to go.
The others showed no signs of moving when Beach Buoy has tested them to see if they were numpty proof.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.
Lots of the dune edge has gone.
Can you see the can?
The can.
Under about a metre of dune sand.
How long has it been there?
4 for £2-89.
A search said mid to late 1990s.
The returned to the north.
The wreck today.
The Village Church Bells rang for 7-45 a.m.
Seaton Carew.
Come so far.
Paul.
