Saturday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 5-23 a.m.
No visible sunrise this morning.
Just orange cracks in denim sky should that the day had started.
Little Terns circled around in pairs.
Pop up overnight campers.
Let's hope they take their bags with them.
The tide had just turned from high.
Beach Buoy gathered five suitable stones as they made the short walk to the water's edge.
Rafting Gulls played unintentional peek-a-boo as the waves first raised then lowered them.
The sea had left an unwalked stretch of sand.
Theirs were the first prints this morning.
To the north a man headed to the sea with his Black Labrador.
Beach Buoy squinted his eyes.
He made believe that it was his departed mate Geoff and his dog Bob.
If you want it to be, then it was.
"Geoff" threw a stick for "Bob."
Off to the Wizard...
A bite in the sand made a perfect seating spot.
Beach Buoy sat down right by the water's edge.
It was like sitting on a fiver bank or lakeside after boat had just passed.
The Sea Serpent.
Screams to the north.
Early morning sea swimmers headed out.
The Human Groyne.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.
He picked up two sturdy stones for the sea defence.
As they approached the small slope that leads to Stubborn Dog Stack, Beach Buoy spotted a Crow.
The bird just seemed to be using one of the stack's post as a viewing point.
He stood silently watching the bird.
The bird took flight.
Beach Buoy placed the two sturdy stones at the base of the slope.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered some seeds for the Crows as the two Dune Ducks flew around the stack in an arc as they seem to do recently.
Out over the sea then back to the cover of the dunes.
Time for a sit and a think on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.
After a while.
"See you mate"
Back down to the low level route.
Back along the beach
Back to the north.
The sparkling sea worked it's way back out.
Gulls seemed to be playing a game.
The one on the left was "It."
They stopped to chat to Mr.Gunn/ Lunn for a short while.
BEACH BUOY.
