Sunday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog parked up.in Sandy Car Park.
It was 7-08.
The litter-pick lady was at the top of a bank of wind-blown sand in the south west corner of the car park.
She was collecting litter as her White Scottie Dog stood watching her, perhaps wondering why?
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach.
Little Terns filled the air.
Sand Martins were close to the nest site too.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
A couple with a small black dog headed south.
The sea swimmers are all year round but today saw the first shoes off paddler of the year.
A young lady with a Border Collie was the first that Beach Buoy had seen.
Her dog was running ahead, before laying in the shallow water.
She took selfies and photographs of her dog as they made their way south.
Yesterday it was an umbrella on the beach.
Today it was shoes-off paddle.
Both bring joy in different ways.
Team Muzzled Dog passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Hiya."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked up near the dunes edge.
There was a fresh but pleasant breeze off the sea.
Skylarks sang to the west.
They walked the low level route.
Beach Buoy left two sturdy stones at the base of the small slope before climbing it.
"Morning Mate."
7-46.
The Skylarks piped them "aboard" the dunes
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
An elderly gentleman arrived via the dunes from the south.
Anyone a day older than Beach Buoy is elderly.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Just making sure that l could find it."
(The stack ) "A friend's daughter's dog has died. I told them she should come here.
"My Dog's ashes are here."
"It's a good idea."
His friendly dog was barking the full time.
"He doesn't like when he isn't centre of attention."
With that, they headed along the "easy " route, down the big slope, down onto the beach below.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog stayed at the stack a while.
It was a lovely morning.
"See you mate."
They returned to the low level route.
Dylan the dog was heading south with his owner.
Distant waves were exchanged.
The man who once had three dogs passed by with three.
More distant waves were exchanged.
A slow walk back to the north.
After all, they have forever.
They rested on the Esplanade Wall for a while.
Rubes.
One last look at the beach before heading back.
BEACH BUOY.
