26, MAY 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 4-34 a.m.
Sunrise was to be at 4-41.
A Twitcher stood at the Esplanade Wall, watching the Little Terns.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked towards the Wreck.
He collected five suitable stones as they did so
The Sun came up.

Twenty or more Little Terns stood by the sea.

Beach Buoy headed south.

The Sun cleared the horizon.

A Little Tern travelled the water's edge with it's catch.

Sunlight and the random tube in perfect alignment.

Beach Buoy kicked a beach-found football as they headed south.
He checked the dunes edge for Hartlepool United scouts.

If clip above will not play, use the link below to view.
It shows two Little Terns that had landed together.
One flew off and caught a fish.
He gave it to the other bird.
We are reliability informed that it is courting in progress.

The jack up platform.

Sea Serpent and idle wind turbines.

They headed along the low level route.

Beach Buoy added two sturdy stones to the sea defences.
They climbed the small slope to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
It was 5-21.

He added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He scattered seeds for the Crows to enjoy later.

He had a sit and a think.

"See you mate."

They returned to the beach below.

Once around the grey rocks they continued southwards.

Once the close was clear, the Crows arrived for breakfast.

An orderly queue formed.

Pecking order.

They walked alongside the grey rocks.

The patterns on the beach were magic.

A bird and the Sun.

Beach Buoy was tempted by a strip of tempting shingle.

No finds.

They skirted around the Tank Traps.

The Sea Serpent.
