SAINT GEORGE'S DAY. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Thursday morning.

St. George's Day.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at Sandy Car Park at 6-28.

The sound of Little Terns swirled around.

Four of them were escorting three Crows from their airspace above the nest site.

They are very slight birds but will see off the biggest of Gulls or pushiest of Crows with team work.

There was a light breeze off the sea.
It was a chilly breeze.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones as a man with two Doodle Dogs left the beach, walk done.

Out over the bay, clouds were stacked like folded towels in a tidy bathroom.

Team One Black Ear were to the south, near the grey rocks that marks the start of the low level route.

To the north, the Beachcombing Border Collie Couple headed down the beach access ramp.

Beach Buoy picked another piece of old roof slate, nail hole included.

He chatted to Team One Black Ear.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the level route.

Two more sturdy stones were added to the makeshift sea defence.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered some seeds.

Beach Buoy had a stand and think.

Ruby had a sit and think.

Two Ducks circled around Stubborn Dog Stack in a wide arc.

Out over the sea.

Back into the dunes.

"See you mate."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the low level route.

A Crow dropped from the sky onto the seed at Stubborn Dog Stack.

They returned to the north somewhere between the sea and the strand-line.

The lady who walks the full length of the beach passed by.

Distant waves were shared.

Beach Buoy wandered down towards the sea.
Photographs of the return journey journey for the blog.
A grey sea gently folded it's white edges onto the beach.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog Dawdled.
They have forever.

BEACH BUOY.
