22, APRIL 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6 a.m.

It was a Wednesday morning.

The headphones lady walked the perimeter of the car park.

Two cars pulled up.

It was the lady with a red coat and a brown dog called Jasper.

Her friend had arrived too.

They set off to walk the beach.

"Morning."

"Morning."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the beach access ramp.
He could hear Little Terns.
They chattered unseen.

Out in the bay,  cloud looked like a UFO.
Sunbeams like searchlights.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

They headed south.

Team One Black Ear were to the north.

A cold wind was blowing inland across a choppy sea.

Jasper & Co. were well ahead.

The tide was a canny way in.
The Sun cleared the clouds.

Beach Buoy paused.
Team One Black Ear caught up, they chatted.
Hugo, the dog with one black ear was brushed as the chat continued.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the low level route.
Two sturdy stones were added to the sea defences.

"Morning Mate."
It was 6-47.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He scattered some seeds.

Beach Buoy stood watching the Gulls hang in the air above the dune edge.

The beach below looked to be fairly quiet.

New wind turbine towers with their blades stack neatly nearby.

A Gull flew overhead.

"See you mate."
They returned to the low level route.

More Gulls enjoyed the updraught.

The hastily rearranged meeting man headed back north.
Another last minute change

He hands swung by his side in gloves and fists.

The lady who walks the full beach went by.
"Morning."
"Morning."
She walked as far as the tide would allow.

A twitcher twitched.

The Wonderful Little Terns.

Welcome back.

BEACH BUOY.
