Easter Sunday.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached Sandy Car Park at 7-13.
Storm David had blown all night.
It was still windy but much calmer.
Team Muzzled Dog headed south along the water's edge.
The south side of The Little Tern Nest Site.
They will be here soon.
Beach Buoy was glad that they weren't here for Storm David.
They headed down the beach access ramp.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
The tide was well in but heading out.
The Sun was as bright as it was welcome.
The wind that blew was a chilly one.
They ambled along the water's edge.
Team Muzzled Dog were already working their way along the dune heights.
They walked the low level route.
An angled walk, thanks to Storm David.
Passing feet and paws had levelled off a section, forming a pathway.
Today it was a slope of wind-blown sand.
The route was fully protected from the morning's wind.
It was a little sun trap.
If a deck chair was going anywhere today it should be on the low level route.
Beach Buoy collected and added two Sturdy Stones.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-41.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added five more that he had deemed to be suitable.
He had a stand and a think.
Beach Buoy scattered some seeds for the crows.
He looked to the north.
Mr.Gunn/Lunn gave the most distant of waves from the base of the big slope as he and Excellent Dog Alfie headed south via the dunes.
"See you mate."
They returned to the low level route.
Crow in slow-motion.
Beach Buoy is happy with the most recent giant pencil.
He thinks that the Crows are too?
Two coffee drinkers headed back north.
The Sunderland Supporter and guest watched Kira as she played by the sea.
Beach Buoy stopped to chat to them for a while.
Back to the north.
BEACH BUOY.
