Saturday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach.
It was 6-33.
The Sun was up.
The tide was in.
A lady and her dog were at the water's edge.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
He and Another Dog headed to the water's edge too.
Count your blessings.
They headed south.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were returning to the north.
It was a cold and bright morning.
Some of the dune edge slopes were dusted with frost.
Team One Black Ear came by.
They chatted for a while.
Hugo, the dog with one black ear had been up in the dunes looking for the Easter Bunny once more.
Team One Black Ear shared names of dogs long gone.
Ones to be put on stones at the stack sometime.
Kinsa.
Keegan.
Scooby.
Jake.
They headed to the low level route.
Beach Buoy collected two sturdy stones for the sea defence like.
He added them at the base of the small slope.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-06.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
The returned driftwood seat with an elevated view was covered in frost.
He stood.
He thought.
He remembered.
Five Skylarks swooped across the dunes in silence.
He enjoyed the sky.
He enjoyed the sea.
Off in the distance an out of focus Magpie sat on the top of a Sea Buckthorn Bush.
Two walked North Gare Pier as waves broke below them.
Beach Buoy scattered some seeds for the Crows for when they arrive.
Two Crows had been up at the Stack as they had approached but took flight.
Beach Buoy was pleased that the giant pencil posts were being used as vantage points for the Crows.
"See you mate."
They returned to the low level route.
The Sea Serpent.
Others to the north.
They walked back along the low level route.
A hint of rainbow colours out at sea.
A hint of an arc beyond the wind turbines.
Beach Buoy had a brief chat with the lady in the red coat as he made a fuss of her trusty and rusty Spaniel, Jasper.
Up on the Esplanade, two-thirds of Team Mick Aston Jumper headed north.
Beach Buoy stopped to chat to Mr.Gunn/Lunn.
BEACH BUOY.
