21, APRIL 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Tuesday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-20.

He could hear Little Terns but couldn't see them.

Quite often that is the case.

They are a very slight bird.

The lady who once fell off her bike was walking the Esplanade with her companion.

As usual Another Dog wasn't keen.

Beach Buoy didn't faff.

He picked her up with no dilly or dally.

He placed on the low wall of the access ramp.

She seemed to understand?

She trotted along the wall down to the beach.

They headed to the sea
A fresh wind blew off it.
The tide was a canny way in.

There was no direct sun but a slice of Orange ran across the horizon to the south.

Beach Buoy chatted to Team One Black Ear.

Four Gulls chased a Crow.

Team One Black Ear made there way back to The Esplanade.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple scanned the beach as they headed south by the sea.

They made their way to the low level route.
Beach Buoy placed two sturdy stones at the base of the slope.

Another Dog was Over the Moon to reach Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
It was 6-56.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He added a wooden wedge for old times sake.

He patted
THE
stone.

He had a stand and a think.

"See you mate."
They continued south along the dunes.

Sand Martin.

They had a think.

Another Sand Martin.

Back along the low level route.

They headed back north.
Driftwood had been cast ashore.

The first Little Tern Twitcher of the new season.

There will be many more in the weeks to come.

BEACH BUOY.
