2, APRIL 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL

 Thursday morning.

Low tide 10-47 a.m.

High tide 4-55 p.m.

It was 6-26.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog crossed The Esplanade.

The man with the Tom and Jerry Bulldog was to the north.

Cones had been out in place in readiness for the arrival of the Little Terns.

As well as the cones alongside the wall, the beach fencing has been erected.

Hopefully they will arrive soon.

The lady who once fell off her bike and her companion passed by as Beach Buoy and Another Dog went down the beach access ramp.
"Morning."
"Morning."

The view north now that the fencing is up.

They headed south.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

A couple with three dogs went back to Sandy Car Park.
The tide was well in, the sea choppy.

A lady headed north along the water's edge with her two dogs.

The Council Tractor was up near the Grey Rocks, dropping off more beach-cleared stones.

They made their way to the low level route.
Beach Buoy added two sturdy stones to the sea
defences.
Skylarks sang above the dunes

"Morning Mate."
It was 6-51.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Others had made use of the Stack paint.

...and again.

Beach Buoy had a stand and a think.
Team One Black Ear, the Beachcombing Border Collie Couple and the Council Tractor all headed back to the north.

Beach Buoy scattered some seeds for the missing Crows.

"See you mate."
He and Another Dog went back down to the low level route.
They had only walked a few metres when a Crow flew low overhead.
It dropped down to the seed at Stubborn Dog Stack.

They walked along the water's edge.

The Sun tried to break the the clouds.

As is often the case, Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the Tractor tracks as if it were a walkway.

The curves of the water's edge was in complete contrast to the straightness of the tyre tracks.

The lady who walks the full length of the beach passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued north.

Back at the waiting nest site, he noticed that there was an inner fence of netting.
He presumed that this was to deter foxes from raiding the site?
What with Kestrels and Owls the Little Terns deserve admiration for the journey they take to reach Hartlepool then the struggle of predators and at inclement "summer."  weather.

A Jogger with two Doodle Dogs headed south.
The Dogs seemed to be happy with the life and the freedom of the beach.

BEACH BUOY.
