SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL..6 DECEMBER 2025.

Saturday morning.
It was 7-49.
It was good to arrive at the beach in full daylight.

As you can see, the tide was a canny way out.
One third of Team Mick Aston Jumper had just stepped onto the Esplanade.
It's an older gentleman and his little black pug.
"Morning."
said Beach Buoy as he went over to fuss over the little dog.
The man chuckled,
"Morning."
He looks a little like Santa Claus and Captain Birdseye once he had decided to retire.
He seems to be a happy soul?
Happier when more of Team Mick Aston Jumper are with him.
It is worth noting that one of the other thirds, the lady whose dogs wear Mick Aston Jumpers, hasn't been seen by Beach Buoy for a long time.

The Seaton Carew Wreck was on show once more.
How many more generations will it outlive?

Two regular Joggers.
They walk, talk and jog, did just that as they headed back north along the water's edge.

Team Muzzled Dog were already to the south.
The man with no dog but a pocketful as sweets was there too.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones as he and Another Dog headed south.
They were overtaken by the man who always looks like he is off to a hastily rearranged meeting.
Last minute e-mail again...

There was a mild breeze from the south west.
Two hoods were down.

Team One Black Ear were in the distance, back to the north.

Beach Buoy spotted the Sunderland Supporter who has shared his story and fight.
He  and Another Dog went from strand-line to water's edge to chat and ask for an update.
They chatted before heading off in opposite directions.

They wandered over to the low level route as a Small Ship headed for the river.

They climbed the small slope that leads one to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
It was 8-18.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added five stones.

Someone had been writing on some of the larger stones.
That is fine.

The Stack is not their making though.
It is Stubborn Dog Stack.
A special spot.
Few know why.

Geoff and his dog Bob have their own stone as Geoff had predicted when he was told how ill he was.

Beach Buoy stood a while thinking about things.
"See you Mate."
They returned to the low level route as the elusive small birds sang.

Sunrise was just a dull glow beyond the Pier.

They headed back.

Others did too.

To the North, sea swimmers headed into the sea.

The wreck was still on show.

Seaton Carew.

As they passed the north end of the dunes, a Full Sun peeked over them.

They headed to the access ramp.

Back onto The Esplanade.

BEACH BUOY.
