5 DECEMBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Friday Morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at 6-54.
The Lone Overnight HGV Driver was checking his vehicle before setting off for the day

Lights flashed.
Horns beeped.

Beyond the car park the Moon looked amazing.

On the Esplanade a Jogger jogged.
An Esplanade Cyclist went by.
"Thank you, Morning."

They headed for the beach.

Beach Buoy used his torch to search for five suitable stones.

He realised that it was quite light anyway thanks to the brightest of moons.

It was so bright!

Beach Buoy couldn't ever recall having Moonshine shadows leading the way

The Moon hung over Seaton Carew like a Sliver Sun.

Beach Buoy took too many photographs of the Moon.

A different light lay to the south.
The Sun was approaching.

It's light stretched across wet tidal sands.

They continued south.

Beach Buoy paused time and time again.
It was a little magical.

They headed to the low level route.

Another Dog led the way up the small sandy slope that leads to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy thought that he could see a silhouette of a bird up on the stack.

He managed to grab a photograph of it before Another Dog disturbed it.
Was this one of the sweet singing but elusive birds?

"Morning Mate."
Under a Bright Moon, he added five suitable stones.
It was 7-21.
He patted
THE
stone.
The was like a Peter Kaye Hobnob biscuit being dipped.
"I'm going nowhere me !"

Beach Buoy had a stand and think.

Stubborn Dog Stack.
Others have made a claim to it.
It is Stubborn Dog Stack.
Always will be.

"See you mate."

They returned to the low level route.

Mr. Gunn/Lunn waved on the beach below from the other side of the grey rocks.
He waved his lit torch too.
Beach Buoy waved in return.
He waved with a lit torch too.
They were suddenly both nine years old once more

Excellent Dog Alfie was trotting along behind, red light flashing.
Beach Buoy called to the little dog.

"Alfie! Go catch your dad up!"

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the remainder of the low level route.

Again, that Moon.

Excellent Dog Alfie was in hot pursuit.

Mr. Gunn/Lunn and his little Alfie.

Out in the bay, The Sea Serpent decided to show.

So close to sunrise and there was the Moon still bright to light up the beach.

They returned to the north end.

The man with no dog but a pocketful of sweets headed south.

"Morning."
"Morning."
Beach Buoy was about to enquire about Midget Gems but he and his sweets had gone...

The Sun would rise soon.
Beach Buoy will be gone by then.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple headed south.
The man who once had four dogs, went by with three.
Distant waves and Mornings were shared.

They all wandered off into the distance.
It wouldn't be the last time  that it was to happen that day...

Goodbye.

Team One Black Ear came from the north.

Hello.

They chatted before going their own ways.

The wreck from a distance.

Things seem different from a distance.

Gone.

They headed up the access ramp.
A Crow waited.

BEACH BUOY.
PAUL.
