Sunday Morning.
Beach Buoy had been up since around 5 a.m.
He made coffee.
He caught up with blog "Stuff."
Ar 6-59 he heard the Beachcombing Border Collie Couple pass by.
Time to get ready for the beach.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.
They set off at 7-27.
There was both light and rain in the sky.
The Moon still shone brightly.
Three flags fluttered gently in the breeze on Cricket Club flagpoles.
A light and mild breeze was blowing from the south west.
Another Dog made a toilet stop.
A car pulled up.
"Thanks for coming, the other day."
It was Colin.
He is the beach walker who walked and talked with Beach Buoy on many beach visits.
It was only a few months ago that they realised that their Dad's were the best of friends.
Colin's Dad's Funeral was on Friday afternoon at 1.
"See you on the beach in a bit,"
The car drove off.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed for The Esplanade.
They headed to the beach access ramp.
A lady with two friendly dogs was just leaving the beach.
They chatted briefly,
Dog talk.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
They headed south.
Colin had parked to the north, he would catch up.
Others were up ahead.
Some heading south.
Some heading north.
All similar early morning beach souls.
Beach Buoy type of people.
Team Muzzled Dog caught up.
They walked and talked together for a while.
They all met up with Team One Black Ear.
They chatted before shooting off in different directions.
Beach Buoy watched the Sea Serpent.
Colin caught up.
They walked and talked together.
They walked along the low level route.
Beach Buoy showed Colin
THE
stone before patting it.
He added the five suitable stones.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.
A boat approached the Sea Serpent.
It circled a while before heading towards the river.
They began to continue south.
The turned back once the beach became grey rocks, thanks to the tide.
They headed back north.
The Sun began to glow to the south.
They walked the Esplanade together as the Lifeguard Station.
They had chatted to one thirds of Team Mick Aston Jumper, the lady with two dogs.
Alfie and Archie.
They had also chatted to Mr.Gunn/Lunn with Excellent Dog Alfie.
There are three Alfies in total.
Team Muzzled Dog have a Border Collie called Alfie too.
Mr. Gunn/Lunn commented on being able to see the Sun and Moon.
The Sun shone brightly.
It was so mild.
Everyone had commented on "Too many skins on."
Team One Black Ear had been regulating his heat by taking his hat off and putting it back on.
They headed back by a different route.
Seaton Holy Trinity.
The sound of it's bells drift across the beach at times.
It has its own graveyard.
Lots of history.
Borrowed Dog came later.
There may have been a sandwich involved.
COLIN'S DAD.
A shrimping trip in Middleton Bay.
It was the summer that Beach Buoy left school.
A long time ago.
Harry, Colin's Dad is to the left.
Beach Buoy's Dad to the right.
Beach Buoy on Camera.
Beach Buoy multi-tasked.
Steering the boat and camera duties.
Happy times.
Simple times.
Beach Buoy only remembers Harry like this in his mid-thirties.
Their paths went different ways until Friday.
God Bless.
He hadn't seen him for around fifty years.
YOUNG SCAL.
