20, DECEMBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Saturday morning,

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed for the beach access ramp.

Two Ladies in long coats with five dogs were leaving the beach.

"Morning."

"Morning."

It was a busy ramp this morning.

A man and a large dog overtook Beach Buoy as they headed down it.

"Morning."

"Morning."

Before they had reached the bottom of the ramp, a couple and two dogs were heading up.

"Morning."

"Morning."

They crossed over tyre tracks.
The Big Sand Castle had been flattened.

They headed towards the sea,

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

No torch required.

They headed south.
The man from the ramp was well ahead already as he and his big dog walked the water's edge.

A Lady with a Border Collie headed north.

Team Muzzled Dog were heading south.
"Morning!"
"Morning!"
Distant waves were added for good luck.

Out in the bay, the Sea Serpent surfaced.

To the north, Beach Buoy could see three lights of different colours flashing.

It was the man who once had four dogs.

"Morning."

"Morning."

"Alright?"

"Yes, you?"

"Yer. See she's out today."

"Aye. Cone free."

The man and his grand dogs headed south along the strand-line.

Cocoa the dog in the dark came bounding over in daylight.

Cocoa had a less bouncy companion, Ember.

The owner and his partner/ wife came over they chatted.

They talked about their dogs that had passed on.

Cocoa was no bother with Another Dog.

Half of Team Muzzled Dog jogged back.

They paused briefly to chat but were off to help with a park run on the Esplanade.

8-05.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

A Crow landed on one of the stack's marker stones.
Perhaps it was the same one ass the other  day?

Beach Buoy reached into his beach bag for the tub of birdseed.
It was empty.
Beach Buoy apologised to the Crow.

They stood a while, watching the sea.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.

Team One Black Ear were heading back north.

The Sunderland supporter was heading south.
Beach Buoy would normally have gone over for an update.
Not today, he was full of cold.
He shouted across.
"Morning. I won't come over, I'm a bit unwell!"
The  Gentleman gave a grateful thumbs up, answering.
"If l don't see you again before, have a nice Christmas."
"You too."

They headed back to the north.

The Sea Serpent surfaced.

A lady stood at the water's edge.

A Ship headed to the river.

They reached the wreck as the Village Church Bells rang for 8-30.

The sunrise would be delayed thanks to low cloud.

Beach Buoy waited for the Sun to show.
A man in a large coat headed south.

A dog walker was to the north.

The man with a big coat, paused to look at his phone.

Beach Buoy looked for acceptable photographs opportunities.

The Sun rose beyond a large coat.
It was 8-35.

Beach Buoy counted his blessings.

The man finally seemed to look up from his phone?

Beach Buoy faffed with a filter.

A couple stood either side of the sunlight.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back.

The Sun seemed to peek over the dunes to say farewell?

Mr.Gunn/Lunn and Excellent Dog Alfie were heading to the access ramp.

There was talk of Alfie doing the beach in his Santa suit before the big day arrived.

BEACH BUOY.
