20, FEB. 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Thursday.

Team...

Beach Buoy.

Borrowed Dog.

Another Dog.

Formation...

2-1

The team bus passed Team One Black Ear.

The driver waved and flashed headlights.

It had rained overnight.

It began to rain once more.

They finally reached the beach
at 8-32 a.m.

They headed south.
The man with the Chocolate Coloured Labrador led the way.

The rain stopped.
The beautiful clouds promised more.

Two Brown Doodle Dogs ran in the shallows, heading north.

The tide was a fair way in.
It was very mild.

They followed others, southwards into a strong headwind.

The Doodle Dogs.

A silhouette walked the dune heights.

Up the big slope.
Down the big slope.
Along the low level route.
Up to the stack.
That's silhouettes for you.

The morning clouds were magnificent.

The Sea Serpent Marker.

Sea Pottery.

Four Tees Tugs welcomed a river bound Ship.
Angled rainfall seemed to follow them down the length of the river.

"Morning Mate."
It was 9-13.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the driftwood plank with plenty of rust.

Telephoto view across to South Gare.
Not the same over there anymore
☹️🏴‍☠️

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.

Beach Buoy spotted a clay pipe stem
He waited until the sea drew backwards to be able to pick it up.

W HPOOL
West Hartlepool.
The West was dropped from the name of the town in
1967.
The two towns of Hartlepool
and
West Hartlepool
were amalgamated.
Hartlepools United became
Hartlepool F.C.
Later years saw the United return to the club's name.

They returned to the north.
Once they had cleared the shelter of the dunes, the wind picked up.
Shifting sands and the sound of a squeaking dog toy snaked out to sea.

A Pale Sun shone.
Faint sunshine shadows walked the beach for a while.

The Crazy Golf lighthouse.

They returned to the van as the Village Church Bells rang for 10 a.m.

BEACH BUOY.
