SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL.13, JAN.2024

Beach Buoy woke at 4-20 a.m.

He made coffee.

He listened to music as he drew his daft drawings.

When he did set off for the beach, the van's screen was frozen.

They reached the Park Car park at 7-29 a.m.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog sat for a while.
Beach Buoy faffed on getting ready for the beach.

They reached the beach at 7-46 a.m.
They had walked sparkling pavements and promenade.
The sand was dusted with frost but not frozen.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
A slice of orange light lay ahead.
A couple with a pushchair and a Labrador headed towards the sea.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked southwards, closer to the strand-line than the sea.
The tide seemed to be about fifty-fifty this morning.
Neither in nor out.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were already heading back.

A Dog called Dylan barked and barked his way all of the way along the beach.

An equal number of Crows and Gulls stood by the sea.

The screams of the sea swimmers could be heard as they entered the sea.

A couple walked the water's edge with a big chocolate brown Labradoodle.
The bounding dog made a Beeline for Beach Buoy and Another Dog.
"He's fine!" the owners shouted.
Beach Buoy raised a hand of acknowledgement.
He welcomed the dog.
He made a fuss of it and gave it a neck rub.
It bounded back to it's owners.

It came back for seconds on their way back.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog clambered across the grey rocks.

Someone's  had been sitting on the wobbly driftwood plank.
Beach Buoy always puts it to the side in the grass, only to stop plonkers plonking it back onto the beach below.
He was pleased someone had used it.
Company for Stubborn Dog
♥️
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 8-32 a.m.

Beach Buoy sat drinking wobbly coffee.
He watched the world go by.
He watched the sea go out.
He watched the clouds drift by.
He watched a couple and their dog walked Northwards.

"See you mate."
They clambered back to the beach.

The view south.

They began a slow walk back.
The tide seemed to have gone out so much in a relatively short period of time.
Maybe Beach had watched the world go by for longer than he had realised?

The Seaton Carew Wreck had come ashore.
It was still at sea when they had travelled south.

The Sun was like one of those low energy lightbulbs after it had just been switched on.

The wreck is almost in line with it's information board that is to the south end of the promenade.

A kiss goodbye.

BEACH BUOY.
