Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the Park Car Park at 3-27 p.m.
It was overcast it was still chilly.
Beach Buoy was glad that he had come back out.
He had almost let the day slip away.
People and dogs milled around.
A large group stood together at the water's edge.
Some of the group were going into the sea as the others cheered, towels in hand.
A cartoon-type dog danced around nearby.
A small dog ran over, laying at Beach Buoy's feet, wanting a belly rub.
The North.
The Seaton Carew Wreck was coming ashore once more.
Another three entered the sea.
Cheers drifted along the beach like a breaking wave.
Up ahead, a walker turned to avoid an incoming wave.
A jogger headed south then north.
Three walked the water's edge with a Border Collie.
Beach Buoy stopped at the grey rocks.
He gave Stubborn Dog Stack a distant wave.
They returned to the north.
Back to the van before dark.
Beach Buoy let Another lead the way.
She went from sniff to sniff.
A couple headed north with a Border Collie.
Another couple headed south with a Border Collie.
Beach Buoy pulled up two hoods.
More blinker mode than heat retention.
The hoods meant he didn't see the litter-pick lady.
The one with a dog that doesn't like Shitzu Dogs.
She had dashed from her litter picking up on the dune edge.
"Are you O.K?
Haven't seen your van for ages."
Beach Buoy thanked her for checking and explained that for now he was parking in the Park.
They chatted briefly.
They went their separate ways.
Beach Buoy went back into blinker mode.
He did notice

written in the sand.
Beach Buoy checked backed to the south.
It was becoming dark so quickly.
BEACH BUOY.
