SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 10, OCT. 2022.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park
at 6-12 p.m.
There was a breeze from the west.
It was still light, but the sun was beginning to set.

The tide was well in.
People milled about in big coats.

A pale blue sky
A light metallic blue sea.

They headed south on firm, flat sand.

The chap who seems to do a long circular walk each day, appeared from the dunes and headed off north with the sea for company.

They headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
"Evening Mate."
He watched as the sun faded.

The Sun gave the sky once last glow and then it was gone.
"See you mate "

They headed back North, along the water's edge.
The moon rose

A couple of evening beach regulars, led the way north with the their shadow black Labrador.

Stepping Stones to the Moon.
If only the Moon was
this bright,
this Orange
 all Autumn and Winter.
The long dark nights wouldn't feel so bad

Darkness claimed the beach.
