SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 03, OCT. 2022

A day off.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at 6-31 a.m.
The wired for sound man walked the car park's perimeter in the half light.
A beach regular was stood on the the promenade, his silhouette watching the orange glow out on the horizon.
He was waiting for others to arrive.
"Morning."
"Morning. "

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed for the water's edge.
The slightest of breezes blew from the south west.
They walked southwards in the half light.
The sea seemed to be on fire as it reflected the pre-sunrise orange glow.

Sunrise seekers stood on the dune edge.
Beach Buoy would their silhouette in the glow in their photographs.

A curve of pottery stuck out from the sand.
Beach Buoy was surprised to find it was whole.
A saucer.

Hotel Ware
Such a shame it didn't have the Hotel's name.
Later research should that the symbol above was last used in  1933.

It doesn't show up too well in the photograph but steam was rising from the sea serpent's cave.
He fir one wasn't worried about the cost of heating.
They headed up to see Stubborn Dog.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added a few beach stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
They waited for the sunrise...

The clouds glowed a deeper shade of orange.
The Sun rose.
The wind turbines spun in the breeze and golden light.
The tide was working its way in.
"See you mate."
They went down a steep sandy slope, back to the beach.
Their sunrise shadows travelled along the wall-like dune edge.

They headed north.
The distant wave lady and friends were heading south
They chatted briefly about the lovely light as Hugo received his neck scratch.

They went their separate ways.
The Sun headed to the clouds.
A fifteen minute show today.
As they left the beach they paused to chat to Mr.Gunn/Nunn.
His lovely little dog, Alfie came to say hello.
If anyone knows Ted from the TV show Mortimer and Whitehouse, Gone Fishing Alfie is a rusting version of Ted
♥️

Beach Buoy moved the van up the coast a little.

A milky coffee with a seaview.

BEACH BUOY.
