SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 02 OCTOBER 2022

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at 6-54 a m.
A few regular cars were parked up.
The sky was fairly clear.
There was a light and chilly breeze from the west.
The sound of sheep calling from nearby fields drifted across the beach.

The beach combing Border Collie Couple headed down the beach access ramp ahead of them.
They hurried south as their dog chased seagulls both imaginary and real.
A group of three headed north.
"Morning." and distant waves were exchanged.
To be honest Beach Buoy didn't have a clue who they were.
Beach Buoy headed to the dune edge.
He turned to see Dolphins.
A line of six headed north, they were followed by another four.

They are not the easiest of creatures to photograph well with a phone camera.

Beach Buoy attempted to record their progress.... briefly.

A couple with three dogs walked by.

Beach Buoy tried to let them know that their was Dolphins behind them.

At first it looked as though they thought that Beach Buoy was complaining about their dogs.

He wasn't.

Eventually with the aid of mine and pointing they got the message.

They too stood watching the sea.

Dolphin watching.

Others arrived.
The informed became informers.
Word spread.

A large structure made its way out to sea.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog were headed up the sandy slope.

They headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate.. "
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Beach Buoy stood watching the large structure head out to sea..
"See you mate "
They went to head back down to the beach.
They were half way down the sandy slope when Hugo came bounding up
They met around midway on the slope.
Beach Buoy gave the big friendly dog an angled neck scratch
They headed to the relative flatness of the beach.
The distant wave lady group arrived.
They chatted  briefly about sighting the dolphins.

The distant wave lady headed north.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog dawdled along

Eights crows plotted as they flew south.

BEACH BUOY.
