Fri. 07 OCT 2022. SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach. They arrived at 5-15 p.m.
The Bus Station Clock Tower read;2-50.
It was bright sun and few clouds in the bay today.
Their long sunshine shadows raced them to the sea.

They headed south.
The non tidal parts of the beach were pop- marked by heavy rainfall earlier in the day.

Beach Buoy roughly estimated that the tide had peaked a couple of hours earlier.
He walked to the water's edge and paused

The beach was very quiet.
Beach Buoy stood almost mid point between a dot of  a person to the north and another to the south.
It looked like the three musketeers had had a falling out.

They headed towards the sandy slope, a sloping break in the steep dune edge.
It leads to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Sea shells crunched underfoot as they progressed southwards.
Porthos and his Spaniel headed north.
An elderly lady approached with her three dogs off the lead.
Beach Buoy was given twenty questions as to why Another Dog was on the lead.
Beach Buoy obliged, ending in saying she just very stubborn at times.

"Miserable Cow."
said the lady as she headed off.
Beach Buoy would rather be miserable than nosey.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed for Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Afternoon Mate."
Beach Buoy added the handful of stones that he had just collected from the beach.
He patted
THE
stone.

The sunlight was both welcome and gorgeous.
The village looked delightful.
Beach Buoy remembered memories.
"See you mate "
They headed back to the beach.

The Sea Serpent was catching some sun too.
Free parking had started at 6.
The first free parkers began to arrive.

A lady stood at the water's edge.
Her long coat flapped in the breeze.
To Beach Buoy's eyes it looked the end scene from a film...

Distant view
The ship leaves port.
She stands at water's edge distraught.
"Don't go!" she screams
"Don't leave me to face this alone!"
Her coat swirls in the breeze, as do her words.

Show ship becoming more and more distant.
She turns sobbing.
She starts to head towards the car park alone.
She looks up.
Through tear-filled eyes she sees him.
He's walking towards her
He didn't go after all.
He begins to run, to reassure her

Camera pulls back.
Up, up and away..

Meanwhile back at the there and then, Beach Buoy and Another Dog began to walk to base camp.

They passed the golf club.
The moon looked like a giant golf ball.

Doorway to the Solar System.
Don't park in front of the Portal.

 A Captured Moon..

BEACH BUOY.
