As Beach Buoy locked the front door
at 6-12 a.m. to head to work
The Beach Sun called...
"COME."SAID THE SUN,
"HOLD MY HAND,
LETS RUN TO THE SEA,
ACROSS THE SAND,
WATCH THE BIRDS,
HEAR THEIR SONG,
COME TO THE PLACE,
WHERE YOU BELONG."
It was later that day when they arrived.
5-36p.m. to be precise.
Once again it was bright with a slight fresh breeze off the sea.
The tide was way out.
No coat required again for today's walk.
The sea was metallic blue.
The wind turbines turned slowly.
Gulls crossed over the dunes and headed out to sea.
The sunlight picked out the white vans and motorhomes that were dotted along South Gare Pier.
They went to see Stubborn Dog.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
They stayed a while .
"See you mate.'
It was a slow walk back.
As they reached the car park, a blood red sun just slipped out of view, sinking as quickly as it rises.
A group of small hatchback cars lined up to watch their owners play car park football.
An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.
Having a lovely time.
Living life on the edge at the moment, the water's edge.
Walked to the local marina today.
The weather was splendid.
Had coffee and cake in a cafe.
Can you check if any post has come?
Some may need to be opened?
