As they passed the Golf Club, it's flag flapped in the southerly wind at not quite half mast.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 4-01 p.m.
A man sat on a promenade bench, his trousers tucked into his socks.
He set off just before Beach Buoy as he often does.
There didn't seem to be a cloud in the sky..
until the only one that was slipped directly in front of the sun.
They headed south.
A lady tried to train her young dog.
"Stay."
"Staaaaaay"
They headed south.
Through a dip in the dune edge Beach Buoy could see a construction site crane on tip toes trying to see the sea.
They headed up to
Stubborn Dog Stack
"Afternoon Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
The man with his trousers tucked into his socks marched back north by the water's edge like an ex Soldier.
A ship that was almost a boat, left the River.
It was very peaceful.
"See you mate."
They went back to the beach, then onto Sand Martin Corner.
The sea began to claim the narrow section of beach that ran along in front of the grey rocks.
They just reached the wider section of beach as the first finger tips of sea dampened the first of the grey rocks.
Twitter "Post Card."
