13 MARCH 2022. SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy couldn't sleep.

Milky coffees, music on headphones and updating of blog.

It was 2-41 a.m. when the first Seagull cried out overhead.

He should have gone to the beach earlier.

It was 6-45 a.m. when Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog reached the beach car park.

The golden few minutes when the sun rises from the sea had gone.

Down at the water's edge, the 7 a.m. club headed North.

A discussion took place as another arrived.

The Border Collie Couple (not to be confused with The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple ) were already heading back to their Land Rover.

There was a strong breeze from the south west.

A number of Skylarks sang above the dunes.

They wandered up to

Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."

He patted

THE

stone.

He added more.

The sun glowed lemon under a grey cloudy  sky.

They had a sit and think just in front of the stack.

Coffee time.

Ok and dog treats too.

Press Play.

Beach Buoy watched as The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple ( Not to be confused with the Border Collie Couple.) searched the shingle below.

The headed to Sand Martin Corner.

They sat again.

Beach Buoy gave the dogs a good talking to.

He told them to remember days like this, if ever they were stuck in the house all alone.

Hugo the Dog came over.

His owner, the distant wave lady walked the water's edge with her mam.

Distant waves were exchanged.

The pair headed towards the pier for a sit and think of their own.

Life Goal.

They began a slow walk back alongside the grey rocks.

The Skylarks sang on.

Beach Buoy pulled up three hoods.

It wasn't the cold, in fact the sun had just broken through the cloud.

Sometimes the hoods are a better place.

By the end of the grey rocks the three hoods were down.

An orange-clad jogger was down at the water's edge.

Mr. Gunn / Nunn headed South with his grand little dog; Alfie.

"Morning."

"Morning.

An imagined Post Card from a Seaton visitor.

Having a lovely time.

As you can see found a shop that sells black and white postcards.

Finally made use of that sewing kit l always bring with me.

A big button was about to come off my warm coat.

Going for a big Sunday Paper soon.

X

They headed back to the van.

 Van coffee.
