Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached
the beach car park at 5-45 a.m
Moments later the yellow wellies Beachcombing lady arrived
Beach Buoy faffed on getting Another Dog ready
By then they were second on the beach.
The lady went into beachcombing mode within minutes as she stooped and stopped for finds.
The moon hung over the dunes like a giant golf ball overlooking the links course below
The tip of Saturday's Sun cleared the horizon at 6-09 a m.
The Sea Serpent Marker.
From the Moon to the Sun.
How many miles ?
They headed up to see Stubborn Dog.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones and patted
THE
stone.
It can be difficult to see a Skylark, but three were together just up above.
They were having a melodic argument.
It was lovely to see and hear.
To the north the 7 a.m. club had overtaken
the zigzagging Beachcombing lady.
Beach Buoy sipped coffee to the snapping sound of a snapping dog treat.
"See you mate."
They headed back to the beach.
The tide was out enough to allow beach access to Sand Martin Corner.
They left the north behind for a while.
Beach Buoy found a bum shaped rock to sit on.
He drank the remaining coffee.
Happier Skylarks sang to the east.
Coffee thoughts...
Beach Buoy had already lived longer than either parent.
No matter how optimistic one wants to be, he knows he is approaching the bottom of life's slide, having climbed the steps many years ago.
It means he can sit and savour each breaking wave, each ripple formed as the waves broke, the light, the colour and the sounds of the beach.
People watch and wonder how their lives would unfold or maybe unravel?
He could stay longer but despite ample padding, the bum shaped rock was becoming a little bit uncomfortable.
They began a slow walk back to the north as a Skylark sang a song called Stay and rock pools drained.
Beach Buoy found a small vase base or perhaps an egg cup?
Beach Buoy paused to recall those no longer in his life.
Another Dog seemed to sense this.
She went up on her two back legs as if to say.
"I'm here mate."
Mr Gunn / Nunn headed north.
They chatted about signs of spring.
"Bye"
"Bye"
they went their separate ways.
Sorrow the magpie flew north on the dune edge.
They passed the car park at 7-35 as they continued to the north.
The Hungry Seagull was already setting up, readying for a busy day.
They left the beach via shadowed steps.
They climbed more.
The broken window.
It can be a tall order to find time for yourself.
The view to the east from the base of the clock tower.
Back to the van; sanctuary.
Breakfast.
An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.
Having a lovely time.
What a glorious morning.
Came to a Cafe for a coffee.
Owner had put chairs outside for first time this year.
Place has the "Start of Season "
feel about it.
Hope cat is eating ok?
BEACH BUOY.
