SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 05 MARCH 2022

Beach Buoy had gone to bed at 9.
He was up just before 11.
He stayed up all night.
He drew.
He drank coffee.
He worried about the world.
He worried about "Stuff."

It was a long night.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at 6-16 am.

One part of the 7 a.m. club headed down to the water's edge with his three dogs.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog dog headed for the strand-line.
The cold wind cut right through the two raised hoods as if they weren't there.
They were ...

They continued south.
Six Oyster Catchers flew north Asif the wind didn't exist.
Meanwhile, Gulls much more a song and dance about traveling North.

Mari approached, the big friendly poodle.
Beach Buoy chatted ginger strand-line cleaning owner.
Goodbyes were shared, given and taken.
They headed up towards
Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

It was bitterly cold stood in the full blast of the icy wind.
Beach Buoy decided the coffee stop would be taken down on North Gare Beach.
It would be more sheltered there today.

They set off for North Gare Pier.

The sea was angry, the air too.

The Headland, across the bay.

The Blue Lagoon.

Gulls hung in the updraught of the pier.
Beach  Buoy found a suitably sheltered spot to drink coffee.
He drank coffee.

They searched shingle stretches down by the river side.
They headed back.
As they approached the North Gare Pier, it felt as if it had started to rain.
It hadn't.
Sea spray was  crossing the Pier.
Beach Buoy caught the glimpse of dog of the lead.
A white dog appeared, closely followed by its owner.
"He's not vicious.
He's just a Gobshite!"
They headed off.

Waves rolled into the Pier before rising into the air.

They headed back through the dunes.

The distant wave lady waved.
Beach Buoy waved back.

Like the people and their dogs, the light came and went.

A dog walker headed north, into the strong headwind.

The rested on the Promenade Wall.

Tinted van window can, at times give a Camera Obscura type look to the reflecting scene.

A lady came and feed the birds.

BEACH BUOY.
