The family line moved from Robin Hoods Bay to Hartlepool Headland in the 1860's
The earliest Robin Hoods Bay connection that he found was a marriage in his direct line in 1620; so possibly born in 1500's?
The line stayed at Robin Hoods Bay until the Headland move.

Heard a R4 programme last week about Robin Hood’s Bay and the Graingers were talked about as one of the prominent families. Fascinating.
