Beach Buoy turned up at the car park around 7 p.m.
He did his almost daily ritual of telling the queue of people trying to make sense of the parking meters, that it was free after 6 p.m.

It was busy.
The tide was high, making it a narrow beach.

A coastguard helicopter travelled around the bay.
