21 JULY 2021, WEDNESDAY... SEATON SANDS AND MIDDLETON, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy had slept for more than two hours, but less than three.

It was 5-20 a.m. when he arrived at the beach car park.

A lone promenade walker, walked the promenade and looked at Beach Buoy a little suspiciously.

It was almost three hours to low tide but already it looked a good way out.

The Seaton Carew Wreck had just been fully exposed.

Around twenty Gulls stood within the remaining  framework of the Ship; a willing crew.

The sea was calm and the air was warm.

There was a slight, but warm breeze  blowing off the sea.

Low cloud had claimed the sunrise and was holding onto the Sun for now.

The Sun broke through briefly.

The reflection on the smooth wet sand was gorgeous.

Beach Buoy headed south.

Full Sun came and went as and when the clouds decided.

Four stones in-hand, Beach Buoy headed up to

Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."

He carried out his now, usual rituals.

He moved a few feet away to the dune edge.

He sat to drink Coffee, take Medication and think.

It was 5-58 a.m.

He could only sit for fifteen minutes.

Things were a little uncomfortable in his bum-shaped sandy seat.

It began to feel like it had been sculpted by another's bum today.

He waved goodbye to his little mate, before heading south to

 North Gare Pier......

A Bird had claimed the driftwood shack that had been built, up on the dune edge, just south of the stack.

It took flight....

More World War Two relics, were breaking up.

A couple of newly exposed Tank Traps looked as new, others were still buried deep under dunes.

A concrete terracotta army.

Thankfully the collapse of the sand bank that had exposed two tank traps had not ruined the home of a nearby Sand Martin.

Four Gulls and a Sea Serpent.

Beach Buoy headed back slowly to the North.

He gave the 7 a.m. club , a distant wave.

He was by the sea, they were on the strand line.

Chocolate Pudding and it's owner were in hot pursuit of the 7 a.m. club.

They chatted a while as Beach Buoy made a fuss of the little brown dog.

He went back to the van and sat and dozed until 8-59 a.m.

Later he paid Middleton a brief visit.

Middleton Beach.

Kittiwake had claimed the footbridge that led to the lifeboat.
