SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 16 MARCH 2021.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived at 3-55pm.

It was a bright day with a hint of a summer-like haze in the distance.

There was a breeze from the north, it was pleasant.

The tide was well in.

High tide would be at 5-26pm.

They headed south.

A lady dog walker who had been up ahead, turned back to head north.

A large piece of driftwood looked like a pointing finger.

It pointed south so Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog carried on.

Although they had ambled along slowly it seemed that they were up stacking the stack in no time at all.

They began their slow walk back.

They headed back to the van.
Beach Buoy sat watching the Promenade people pass.
 A family headed north.
Mother held a small child's hand as it proudly walked the Promenade wall.
Dad pushed a pushchair with one hand as he gazed into his mobile phone in the other.
He stumbled slightly but held the phone safely, as a drunk would a tray of chips on the way home... back in the day.
He started punching in a text message with his thumb.
CHIPS ARE SAFE  👀😀🙏
