Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived at around 3-36pm.
They headed southwards on the promenade to reach the access ramp.
A couple passed going north.
They had just been served at The Hungry Seagull, both had a freshly poured cup of coffee in-hand.
They walked with their drinks as though the they had just been awarded an Oscar and were just leaving the stage after their combined success.
They headed to the sea.
The tide was high and becoming higher, the beach narrower.
The sky was greyish blue, the sea a bluish green.
They headed south, searching the shingle patches.
One of the two Tugs that left Hartlepool docks to guide the ship into Port.
It was a chilly afternoon.
A fresh breeze blew from the south west.
A Moon-like Sun was up there somewhere,
visible at times as the clouds slid past one another.
The incoming sea tried to make claim to any sea pottery finds before Beach Buoy could collect them as it grabbed at the beach with irregular shaped fingers.
A low level, brighter light appeared to the south and it slowly worked it way across the Bay's horizon.
They stacked the stack and glanced to the north.
Waves broke as a Seagull headed south.
Beach Buoy left the finds that he had found.
They headed back, on an ever narrowing beach.
The Gulls headed back to the Sea.
Beach Buoy headed to the van.
People watched as the tide peaked at 5-01 pm
