| Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived at the scene of yesterday's derailment at 6-46 am. You could tell it was an August morning. The slightest touch of freshness that would give a car a hint of an early morning damp windscreen. Not just quite yet; not today as the Day was warming minute by minute. There was one other Car in the Car Park; a Terracotta Ford Fiesta.... Terracotta in Colour! Not a new type of non steel car embracing new options in design. As Beach Buoy sorted out his "Stuff"; readying for the walk another Car pulled up. A four wheel drive vehicle, Coughy Sniffy man climbed out with his Dog and thankfully, the Man, his cold and his Dog headed for the Dunes. |

| He left most of any finds as he was being more selective on what he took back to Beach Buoy Towers. About halfway along he became aware of a Chemical Smell; drifting from the nearby River Tees and all of it's industries. Beach Buoy headed up into the Grey Rocks and it's scattering of shingle. and Beach Cleaned as he went. |

| Then it was a slow walk back. The Chemical smell had gone and it was replaced by a lovely fresh breeze drifting from the South West. A couple approached in the distance with three Dogs. It was clear that the Dogs were water lovers; Labrador/ Retriever types. |

| Beach Buoy eventually returned to the Car Park. He photographed his Beach Clean and binned it, again just in time for the Council to come and empty it. He popped up the tailgate of the Car and sat, resting in the back of the vehicle, having a Drink. Stubborn Dog had been watered and was laid, flat out in the shadow of the Car. Three men approached along the Promenade. They all looked retired. They were doing the "Walk to the End of the Prom." walk. They walked three abreast The middle man was doing most of the talking... the word "Gerrymandering" drifted across to Beach Buoy's Ears. Beach Buoy googled "Gerrymandering." and left for base camp. BEACH BUOY. |
