SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL . SATURDAY 25 AUGUST 2018.

Beach Buoy woke at 5-15a.m.
He and Stubborn Dog were on the Beach for 5-50, with the hope of catching the Sunrise.
Sunrise was 5-59 today.
Before Sun up, three Border Collies appeared from the Car Park.
A large car had come into the Car Park just after Beach Buoy. Two of the dogs went for Stubborn Dog so Beach Buoy grabbed him to safety. The three Dogs surrounded Beach Buoy and then were off back to the Car Park. Their "Humans." arrived on the Beach and headed into the Dog ban area (Typical) and walked off into the distance; the man leaving a trail of smoke. " Good ."
Beach Buoy said to himself.

The Sun finally rose above some clouds on the Horizon. Nine minutes late.... The Sun illuminated a ship's arrival onto the scene; heading for the River Tees.

Once the Sun was out it seemed to turn the Sea the Colour of that Christmas wrapping paper, the blue metallic foil type.
A Seal popped up and seemed to do a double take when he saw Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog on the Beach. The Seal vanished never  to be seen again (That Morning.) Beach Buoy daydreamed that the Seal had disappeared to make notes in a book, notes for his Seal Blog......

BEGINS WITH SEA.a Blog
by Sammy Seal.

Wet again today.
Was heading North for Breakfast
around 6-20
saw that Human with his awkward dog again being dragged along the Yellow stuff.
Felt like shouting "Get some water skies and a boat."- "Come on in." - "The water's lovely."

Two seabirds re-enacted a dogfight in the air, like the one Beach Buoy's Dad saw during World War 2 over the Sea towards Saltburn / Staithes way.

Beach Buoy dug his hands deep into his pockets and tried to enjoy the new strand line; no footprints.
The earlier dog encounter was still upsetting him.

There was a light fresh breeze and this was highlighted by a group of Seagulls that were all pointing in different directions. Some looking at the Dunes, some at Beach Buoy weighing up the risk factor and some out to Sea perhaps wondering if Sammy would mention them in his Blog. In a stronger breeze they would all face it.

Beach Buoy is glad to be a morning person...
the rock isn't by the look of it?

Beach Buoy found the most comfortable looking rock opposite the Sea Serpent  and sat to think and make notes.
Sadly the most comfortable looking rock wasn't the driest!

Stubborn lived up to expectations on the way back.
By 7-05 the 7a.m. had been spotted in the distance to the North.
Beach Buoy headed to the Car, placed his beach clean items into the recently emptied council bin on the promenade.
Watered the Dog.
Drank a coffee that he had brought in a Thermal Cup.
He sat
there  for a while people watching to the rhythmic sound of a toy solar powered Monkey on the dashboard swinging from side to side; a gift from Whitby........

Once back Beach Buoy had a clearout of his Beach Bag.
