SEATON SANDS , 1-8-18

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived in the Car Park at 6-29 pm. A group of Common Terns walked like clockwork toys whilst trying to keep out of the way of any in-coming traffic, apart from one which stood on it's single leg.
Down on the Beach, by the access ramp, a Sports Team set up a volley ball net.
Beach Buoy headed for the Sea.
High tide was in under an hour at 7-19pm.
Two Tees Tugs crossed the Bay, back to the River Tees after guiding a ship out of Hartlepool.
Beach Buoy headed South and skimmed stones.
The two stopped opposite the Sea Serpent, where the Grey Rocks start.
Beach Buoy picked a rock that looked like a bike seat, but sadly it felt more like a Raleigh Chopper Gear stick to sit on.
The Dog slept as Beach Buoy watched the Sea.
11 Cormorant flew South in a flock.
In contrast to the Clockwork Terns marching around the Car Park like traffic wardens, some remote control terns swooped and dropped like stones into the Sea, looking for supper.
Beach Buoy finally and reluctantly headed back...
