EYEMOUTH, SCOTLAND 10 AUGUST 2018.

Sometimes you just need to get away.
Not booked until after lunch, Beach Buoy found himself Stubborn Dog and Waggy Dog on Eyemouth  Beach.
It wasn't researched it was just what came up when looking for a late getaway.
So... 6-59 pm Eyemouth Beach it was.
Beach Buoy walked the Beach and then the North Side of the Long Narrow Harbour.

Two parents and Six young Swans patrolled the Harbour.
It was a lovely Evening. Seagulls stood around the Quayside as if
waiting for something to happen. Some had found employment, standing on Cars as if they were Eyemouth Parking Tickets. Some of those out of work Gulls stood around on Seaweed covered Rocks down in the Mouth of the Harbour; it was low tide.

Beach Buoy recalled somewhere in his old head that a BBC  TV Coast program mentioned a Tragedy in Eyemouth.
Beach Buoy was on the lookout for information and maybe a Statue or memorial of some kind.
He found a Memorial but no matter how he
tried photograph it, there was no way he could do it justice.

Here is a link to the Tragedy.
EYEMOUTH DISASTER

Above is a Beach Buoy photograph of just a section of the memorial. Each figure in the vast memorial represents a real person.

Then it was a walk back along the Beach.
