Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at 6-17 a.m.
The car park was as dark as night.
There was a very light breeze from the south west.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.
There was a dull orange glow to the south.
The tide was well in.
The sea was calm.
The lights of a small boat headed towards the river.
Another Dog was wearing a new flashing green light
The low level route was low level light too.
They headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Up the small sandy slope.
Ruby.
Back to the beach.
Still no sign of the sunrise.
Beach Buoy paused to chat to Team One Black Ear as they were heading south.
A coffee-carrying couple headed south.
"Morning,"
"Morning."
The man who once had four dogs but now has three went by.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach access ramp.
The very very wet Retriever came bounding down to the beach below.
They headed off, Durham-bound.
Gone before the sunrise came.
