15, OCTOBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Happy 99th birthday Dad.

Wherever you are.

When do we stop counting?

When we die ourselves?

X

Odd to think l last saw you 43 years ago.

Paul.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach at 6-55 a.m.
A Jogger headed southwards along the Esplanade.
The Person who walks the perimeter of the car park almost strode into Beach Buoy.

He headed down the beach access ramp.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were heading down too.

It was mild.
A light breeze blew from the north east.

The tide was well out.
The wreck was well ashore to the north.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple stepped it out.
They were soon at the Grey Rocks, chatting with Team One Black Ear.

A flock of Gulls headed south.
It was a little unusual.
The tip/dump is to the west.
Most head for that.

Another Dog had a bit of a stand off with a Crow.
A bit like High Noon at 7-14 a.m.

A Jogger ran the water's edge with two Doddle Dogs.
They were no bother.

Beach Buoy chatted to Team One Black Ear.
He made a fuss of Hugo, the dog with one black ear.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-30 a.m.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He had a sit and think on the elevated driftwood seat with an elevated view.

The Jogging Doodle Dogs head back to the Village.

The man who once had four dogs went by with three.
They exchanged distant waves.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back to the beach.
Once clear of the grey rocks, they turned to continue southwards.

A Concrete Truck trundled along North Gare Pier.
More repairs.

The Sunrise was nothing to write home or in a blog about.

The beach was theirs.

Repairs underway.

They turned to head back north.

Gulls took flight.
West to the tip/dump.

A small float was washed up.

Ghost Fishing Gear.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the wreck.
The incoming tide would claim it soon.

The Wreck today, with a crew of Gulls.

BEACH BUOY.
