Friday morning.
Beach Buoy arrived at the beach alone at 6-33 a.m.
He took a sip of hot coffee from his thermal mug as he set off into the darkness.
He turned on the green flashing light which was hooked through a beach bag clip.
From a distance he was going to look like a massive dog or just the beach nutter...
With the help of the torch on his phone, he collected five suitable stones.
It was oddly very mild.
It felt like it had been a nice afternoon and then someone had suddenly decided to turn off the lights.
The red lights of the Wind Turbines appeared to be flashing.
It was just the unseen blades passing in front of the light as they rotated.
Beach Buoy stood in the dark, scribbling guessed notes in his beach book.
He wondered if there is such a thing as a pen with a built in light?
He wondered if this behaviour was normal?
It is for him.
Gradually he could more clearly.
It was more a case of becoming less dark than becoming lighter if that makes sense?
He took another sip of coffee.
He climbed the small slope to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-08 a.m.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He had a sit and think.
A hidden sunrise today.
Down on the beach below, the Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were heading back to the north.
Time to go.
"See you Mate."
Beach Buoy returned to the beach below.
He walked mid way between the tide and the dunes.
Others led the way.
Team One Black Ear came from the north.
They chatted.
They went back to the north together.
Milo, the Borrowed Dog plays catch up, running back from a dip in the sea.
Mr.Gunn/Lunn came along.
He had Basil the Borrowed Dog with him and Excellent Dog Alfie.
It wasn't even Thursday!
Beach Buoy.
