1, OCTOBER 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 A Wet Wednesday in October.

It brought back memories of the time that Beach Buoy sent a script for a play to a television station many years ago.
They had passed it on to a critic/reviewer, who said that it was
"Duller than a Wet Wednesday in February."

Beach Buoy went to the beach alone.
Another Dog was having none of it.
It was raining.
She curled up in her bed.

Beach Buoy arrived at the beach at 6-54 a.m.
He pulled up two hoods.
He heard voices.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were walking quickly and diagonally across the car park.

The person who walks the perimeter of the car park did so in the rain.

The beachcombers headed south.

The tide was well out.
Beach Buoy headed to the Seaton Carew Wreck.

Even though it was raining, there was a hint of orange in the sky.
It would be sunrise soon.

He turned to head to the south.
The wind and light rain was head on.

The view back to the Village.
The tide was coming in.
The wreck would soon be gone.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The very very wet Retriever came bounding over from the south.
It seemed pleased to see Beach Buoy.
It was even happier when Beach Buoy reached into his beach bag and pulled out a beach-found ball.
He threw it for the dog.
He chatted to the owner.
The dog was impatiently dropping the ball at Beach Buoy's feet.
As if saying,
"I'm here.
Just throw it!"

An Unexpected Sun began to show even though it was raining.

A narrow band of cloud man the Sun look like Saturn.

Team Muzzled Dog caught up from the north.
They discussed a mystery in the dunes.

Beach Buoy headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-34.
He patted
THE
stone.
He added five more that been deemed suitable.

He had a stand and think.

"See you mate."

He continued south along the dune edge.

At Sand Martin Corner he stopped to chat with Mr.Gunn/Lunn
Beach Buoy made a fuss of Excellent Dog Alfie as they talked.
Main subject today was sausages.

Beach Buoy took his time heading back.
He stopped to give a distant wave to Stubborn Dog Stack as he passed by on the beach below.

The sound of the rain on two raised hoods was comforting.

BEACH BUOY.
