Tuesday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach.
They arrived at 6-40.
It was still dark.
They headed down the beach access ramp.
Beach Buoy used the light on his mobile phone to select five suitable stones.
It was very mild.
Moisture hung in the air.
There was a welcome light breeze from the north.
It speaks volumes, stating that an October breeze was welcome.
The tide was well out.
They headed southwards.
Something spooked Another Dog.
A figure overtook them.
Just a silhouette with a face illuminated by a mobile phone screen.
Gulls cried in the darkness above.
By 7 a.m. they were around five hundred metres away from the low level route.
It was lighter now.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-08.
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added five more.
He had a sit and think.
Ruby.
Another Dog chose to stand.
Beach Buoy just looked out to sea.
The person who had passed them in the darkness, headed back north.
Phone in hand.
"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the beach below.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were searching the beach.
Team One Black Ear stopped for a chat.
Mr.Gunn/Lunn chatted too as excellent dog Alfie stood waiting.
They headed back to the Car Park.
A quick chat to one-thirds of Team Mick Aston Jumper and they were
G O N E.
