Sunday afternoon.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach once more.
It had been a slow walk.
Another Dog had wanted to sniff every fallen leaf.
Then she wanted to cross reference each leaf.
She then went on strike a number of times, having to be baby-carried to be sure that they were back before dark.
They rested at the Esplanade Wall.
It was 4-58.
There was a light breeze from the east, across the sea.
A family group led the way along the water's edge.
The sea was just about to claim the Seaton Carew Wreck.
The tide was still a good way out.
Sea coal was scattered along the strandline.
It was a misty afternoon.
The Wind Turbines were not to be seen.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
A metal detectorist worked the strandline.
A Lone Fisherman tried his luck.
Beach Buoy spotted the elderly man with his elderly greyhound.
He made a point of going over to see them .
They had the best of chats.
They wished each other well before going their own way.
The Gentleman and his gentle dog head north
He had pointed out that he only used his a
walking stick whilst on the beach.
The fisherman.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
The Brakesy stone was still there.
"Afternoon Mate."
He patted
THE
stone.
He added the five suitable ones.
It was 5-40 p.m.
Beach Buoy had a sit and think.
Another Dog did too,
The fisherman moved southwards.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below.
They headed northwards.
A couple of couples traded places.
