SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 13, MARCH 2025.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at Sandy Car Park.

It was 6-29 a.m.

It wasn't looking favourable.

A lady in a wet red coat opened the tailgate of her car.

Two wet Labradors jumped into the soon to be wet car.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog set off, leaving the comfort of the van behind.

The 7 a.m. club had already headed south.
There was a faint glow of coloured light, where the sunrise should have appeared.

Beach Buoy walked to the sea.
Within minutes of leaving the van, the rain had just about stopped.
Nevertheless, two hoods were up.
Fingerless gloves were on.
The wind from the north was cold.

The 7 a.m. club were almost at the low level route.
A cloud of cat-treat-loving birds swirled around them.

It was another day of ever changing light.

Angled rain headed north to south.

The 7 a.m. club beaded back north.

They chatted.

Subject, weather and firewood.

They went their separate ways.

Beach Buoy gathered five ice-cube-like suitable stones.

They headed to the low level route.
Beach Buoy ran.
Repeat ran.
Two hoods were lowered.
He shouted
"Wahoo!"
No one around.
No one will know.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-02.
Beach Buoy added five stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Looking down onto the beach below.
He didn't sit and think today.

He stood watching the clouds move, the light change.

Some were heading south.

The turned back well short of the grey rocks.

"See you mate."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the low level route.

The wind was bracing.
The sea was wild.

Head back into a strong headwind.

It rained for around one minute.
The right side of his face felt numb.
It stopped as quickly as it had started.

The lady who walks the full length of the beach went by, heading south.
Beach Buoy instigated a distant wave.
It was returned.
A first.

The wreck today.
The tide had been going out as they were heading along the beach.

Maybe too many photographs but the scene were dramatic.

The Sun tried.

The village shone against a black sky.

A last look at the wreck for today.

The lady who walks the full length headed back to the village.

The light changed once more.

The man who once had four dogs walks the distant water's edge with three.
Mr Gunn/Lunn heads to the sea with Basil, the Thursday borrowed dog.
Excellent Dog Alfie was nearby, doing his own thing.

On The Esplanade.
Dark and light.
Possibly rain on the way?

A lady and her Border Collie stood looking  out to the ever changing bay.

Meanwhile... Rainbow to the north.

Clock crock Tower.

Back to the van, just in time.

BEACH BUOY.
