Beach Buoy had been up since 4.
Another Dog slept a bit longer.
It looked to be a good morning to capture a good sunrise.
Beach Buoy hates disturbing Ruby.
She loves it once that she is out.
He carried her to the van.
She was unimpressed with the cold frosty air.
Beach Buoy cleared the ice from the windscreen.
They set off.
A Black VW had stayed overnight.
It's windows were still blacked out.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the southernmost access ramp.
The lady who once fell off her bike went by, walking to the southern end of The Esplanade.
"Morning."
"Morning."
A young couple came down the access ramp.
They headed south.
Beach Buoy took a walk to the sea.
The beach was frosted.
It looks quiet to the north.
The light looked stunning.
It was very very cold.
Even the Moon looked to be frosty.
Two hoods were up.
Fingerless gloves were on.
Finger ends would not warm up.
The tide was well in.
It wasn't too long before Beach Buoy and Another Dog were heading south too.
It was looking like The Sun would soon be taking all of the accolades.
For now the Moon was the star...
6-09 a.m. The Sun appeared.
Three minutes later it would be clear of the sea.
Bouncing Ball.
Bowling Ball.
The sunrise was so perfect that it almost looked to be fake.
So calming.
Beach Buoy gathered five, ice cold but suitable stones.
The gloves came off.
The finger ends were still butterfly cold.
Bare hands warmed up more quickly this morning.
They headed to the low level route.
Three Oyster Catchers stood by the sea.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 6-39.
He stood sipping hot coffee.
Hugo appeared.
Milo appeared.
Hugo's owner appeared.
Team One Black Ear were paying their first visit to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning."
"Morning, thought l'd come and see were you sit."
Beach Buoy gave a guided tour.
Up at Stubborn Dog Stack.
The light was just about perfect today.
"See you Mate."
Team One Black Ear's Borrowed Dog
They all headed back together, chatting as they walked.
Milo, was in and out of the sea.
The lady who walks the full length of the beach passed by on the water's edge.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Morning."
The young lady with a Yorkshire Terrier gave them all a distant wave.
Team Muzzled Dog stopped to chat.
They'd been to the other side of the world and were feeling the cold.
Beach Buoy walked to the splash pad with Team One Black Ear.
Then he headed back to the van.
The occupants of the black VW camper were out having a warm drink.
It must have been a cold night for them?
"Morning."
"Morning."
BEACH BUOY.
